Started in 1994, Absence was formed in Torino, Italy. They started their journey with a demo "The Epilogue Of Our Pain" in 1995, and then EP "From The Bloodshed" in 1997, later on their full-length album "Shall The Sentence Be Death" was released in 1998, and then their final album "I'll Cast The First Stone" in 1999.

Absence known for their 90's aggressive Metallic-Hardcore, strong dedication towards Straight Edge and veganism, animal-liberation, environmentalism, and eco-warfare. After their last show on 2002, they went on and later become xDestroyBabylonx in 2006.

After 23 years since the release, today Diorama Records is excited to have a chance to reissue their final album "I'll Cast The First Stone" to be available on limited hand-numbered cassettes for the first time. Let's celebrate their aggressiveness and rejoice their messages once again.
